Sheetal Sangoi, founder of Desi Khana, is a successful woman entrepreneur. Post graduation, Sheetal joined Jet Airways breaking the glass ceiling to become the 1st Air Hostess from the Kutchi community. During 9 years, she flew over 16,000 flight hours and travelled many destinations, both Domestic and International, as an In-Flight Executive.

Her passion for business, growth and contribution prevailed. For Students going for Higher Studies Abroad, she conducted cooking courses and counseling from home for many years.

A business idea came in when her students shared they missed home made Indian food. A pain point common for travellers and working professionals as well. After lot of brain storming, start up challenges and months of persistent efforts Desi Khana was born as small home based set up.
