Refund and Return Policy

Considering Desi Khana deals with Ready to Eat, consumable and perishable products, we have ZERO refund policy, which means once we receive your order & it is processed by Desi Khana it can neither be cancelled nor be refunded. We have right to decline any request for return of goods at any point.

Damages & Delivery Issue

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

You are required to contact Desi Khana on 9702220909 with your issue immediately along with valid and legitimate reasons for requesting a return. 

Following internal review of your request & validation, Desi Khana reserves the right to accept or decline the return shipment based on reasonable accommodation.

Order Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item only after you have FORMAL ACCEPTANCE NOTE from Desi Khana. If your return is accepted over valid reasons, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Once the return is accepted, goods are received & inspected, a 'Credit Note' will be issued to make a separate purchase for the new item(s) or replacement(s) will be provided.

The decision to issue a credit note or send replacement is at our discretion and you are agree to abide by the policy.

IMPORTANT: Items sent back to us without notification or formal acceptance of the request for return will neither be entertained nor be replaced.

In case of legitimate business justification such as transport damage, spoilage or unnatural events including Act of God which results in items delivered in inappropriate condition, human error or unexpected transport delays beyond reasonable period by the Third Party service provider, we reserve the right to issue a credit note. In case of exchange or product replacement, Desi khana will take the final decision and you agree to abide by the policy.

IMPORTANT: You agree to release Desi Khana from any legal or regulatory action arising from the sale of products, delivery delays or transport damages due to reasons beyond our control.

You also agree that you will be held liable for any derogatory remarks, threats, harmful foul language or inappropriate comments over call, email, social media or any online portal that are unsubstantiated and unreasonable.

You will be subject to legal action for reputational or financial damages caused to Desi Khana and that the legal cost of such damages will be absorbed by you. 

Order Cancellation

Desi Khana reserves the right to consider the cancellation and refund, if the request is raised WITHIN 2 Hours of placing order. Desi Khana will determine if such cancellation and refund request satisfy our terms & conditions, in which case Desi Khana shall process the cancellation request.

Desi Khana reserves the right to collect a small cancellation fee to cover for transaction charges or cost of processing order.

In the unlikely event of an item in an Order being unavailable, Desi Khana will contact the Customer on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the Order and inform Customer of such unavailability. In such an event Customer will be entitled to cancel the entire Order and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount upto 100% of the Order value.

In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Desi Khana, Desi Khana shall not collect any penalty from the Customer.

IMPORTANT: The Customer shall verify the items before final order is placed. In case of any special instructions call the customer care at 9702220909 or leave a message on WhatsApp WITHIN 2 HOURS of placing the order. Once the order is out for delivery the Customer cannot cancel the Order nor claim any refund.

Non-Customer Cancellation

Desi Khana reserves the right to collect a PENALTY for the Orders constrained to be cancelled by Desi Khana for reasons not attributable to Desi Khana, including but not limited to:

·       In the event if the address provided by Customer is either wrong or falls outside the delivery zone;

·       Failure to contact Customer by phone or email at the time of delivering the Order booking;

·       Failure to deliver Customer Order due to lack of information, direction or authorization from Customer at the time of delivery; or
